    Can you help. Thank you. The outside of the bread cooked although the top was really hard and the inside did not cook at all. Am I supposed to go my entire life without eating a cookie.

I would like to suggest that you adjust the timing to include the rising time 1 hour and 20 minutes. Kind of a mixture between bread and cake.
