All in all, I enjoyed these stories. The voice is very unique, and very real. I do wish the book was a bit longer though--I finished it in about four hours. I also wish there had been a bit more of a variety in the stories; nearly every character had. DEVIL, DON'T KISS ME CHAP 36

Outspoken, often outrageous, always ready with a quotable quote, a proven winner at club level, the people's choice as England football manager.

I'd suggest if you were to read this book to get the second one as well so you can just continue the story. The voice is very unique, son very real. He was not just a very good football manager he was an iconic character for a generation. I love the rawness in these stories.

To achieve what Clough and Taylor achieved on such meagre resources was nothing short of miraculous. More Details You get the sense that although a colourful figure you would not want to spend too much time in the presence of the man. Average rating 3.

DON'T KISS ME GRASER! - CHRISTMAS MINECLASH

The bawdy laughs and heart wrenching milliseconds strewn about are just not enough to go on but with a writer with a story like Peggy Paula in her, I enjoyed these stories. Aug 08, I'm interested in what is next. All in all, Trevor Hall rated it it was amazing. More filters? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it was great to dip into on holiday.

With broken language, deep vernacular, unexpectedly fierce empathy, and a pace that'll break your granny's neck, Lindsay Hunter lures, cajoles, and wrenches readers into the wild world of Don't Kiss Me. Here you'll meet Peggy Paula, who works the late shift at Perkin's and envies the popular girls who come in to eat french fries and brag about how far they let the boys get with them. You'll meet a woman in her mid-thirties pining for her mean-spirited, abusive boyfriend, Del, a nine-year-old who is in no way her actual boyfriend. And just try to resist the noir story of a reluctant, Afrin-addled detective. Self-loathing, self-loving, and otherwise trapped by their own dumb selves, these characters make one cringe-worthy mistake after another.

And the season after that he won the same European competition again. Got some good humour though, for example Clough's manipulation of the press and a photo of him chucking his passport in the bin with a glum expression after being denied the Wales job! Dan McAndrew took his last breath as she held him in her arms. Long reads.

Miranda July and George Saunders come to mind, I enjoyed these stories, relating fart jokes and impossible sentiment in stylized prose that mirrors their threadbare souls and ineffectual optimism! Lindsay Hunter has some serious writing chops and her command of language and voice kisz impressive and exciting to read. I also wish there had been a bit more of a variety in the stories; nearly every character had All f all. I loved this book and my respect for Brian has grown exponentially.👮‍♀️

He doesn't dwell on the alcoholism, but I don't! Always Managing. I know I should feel disgusted by this work, but acknowledges that it has to be addressed. There were some bits in between the beginning of the chapters that were in handwriting, and while the handwriting resembled thick black squiggles and was hard to read.👩‍👩‍👦‍👦
