    Theoretically the wood glue and the material records are made of are so chemically similar that the glue can't bind to the record. The same goes for the microfiber towels you use for cleaning. Its also a good idea to have a dustcover on your RCM and to keep it closed when not in use. Apply glue on a spinning record, use your finger to smooth the glue out evenly.
