There is a ton of programming books out there, covering different topics and different programming languages. In this article, I am going to share with you my favorite books in an attempt to help you make a decision that suits you the best.

However, I found it a bit heavy because of all the details. How to Become a JavaScript Developer? I have found them useful only when working with a very low-level language such as machine language or for understanding someone else's poorly-written "spaghetti code. I like that this book works beyond the theories it says.

This can be best illustrated with an example : 1. Skiena Website: Amazon. This book has great illustrations of algorithmic processes that make them intuitive. You have to type the code for these exercises precisely Without copy and structurres.

This book tries to explain basic computer science concepts as simply as possible without coming across as simplistic? It covers things like execution complexity, for example. Select at least 3 This will help us to keep things fresh and relevant. Many of the books focus on a specific structure intended to facilitate learning, using working examples and code to support the theory behind structkres subject.

Basically, I am trying to learn some very basic data structures and algorithms using python. However I think when trying to implementing these algorithms, I unknowingly start using python tricks a bit, even as simple as the following which will not be considered tricks by any stretch of imagination. I don't know what is the general guideline to follow so that I can grasp the algorithm as it's meant to implemented. It is all right to use Python's techniques to solve problems.

  1. Fusberta A. says:

Algorithms are language agnostic and any programmer worth their salt should be able to convert them to code in their programming language of choice. Just ask them to implement any popular sorting algorithms like quicksort or merge sort and they will fall apart. If you expect them to know more advanced and complex algorithms like String algorithms , graph algorithms , tree traversal or greedy algorithms, be ready to check on Interviews, otherwise, you might end up with some surprises. Once, I come across a very good candidate for a core Java senior developer role, he was excellent in Java, multi-threading but his data structure and algorithm skill was really poor to his experience and caliber. 🥺
