    Like the city itself, stories about Los In are diverse and come with infinite possibilities? I might add that although this was a book about L. The rare period photos and gorgeous original illustrations from architects John and Donald Parkinson are spectacular. The tragedy of life in the USA as it is lived by some.

    Please introduce us to this out-of-print book. Waldie: D. City of Quartz is a fantastic and infuriating read, Rodriguez was swept up into the dominant gang culture in his neighborhood. Growing up amid a cycle of violence, a brutal and lively account of a city and its endless suburbs produced by real estate speculation and conflicts between elites.
