The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur

I rarely feel entitled to leave a review about an author's work unless I find the writing to be exceptionally good or exceptionally bad- in this case the latter rather than the former. I struggled to gain any type of depth reading "the sun and her flowers". The poems were incomplete and fragmented, as if the author and editor were in a rush to get the book published and they probably were. If this author comes out with anything new I will gladly take a pass. One of my favourite authors.
