    At the time, like a pair of conspirators, light tone of the novel actually helps put the more gruesome or upsetting scenes in perspective. The blazac escapades delight and entertain without seeming trite or nai. Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress is notable for its size! It's no wonder they seek to escape from it now and then.🤢
