Skyline Restaurant - Duck & Waffle - LondonThe only thing really special about this place was the view. It really is quite amazing looking out of the city whilst eating. The service is great - cannot fault the staff. We had to send back the bread twice as there was way too I visited here with my girlfriend having made a reservation weeks in advance. When we arrived we were told by the hostess our reservation had been cancelled the day before without any communication whatsoever. She offered no form of apology and said there was nothing

When you decide your hungry after a night out at 1am you know the Duck and Waffle has the potential to be the perfect end to a great night. As many do I went for the signature Duck and Waffle dish which I was very excited about. But it turned out to be bland and ridiculously expensive for what it is.

There's something oddly regal about eating duck at 6. Regardless of the view which were spectacularthe food was incredible. The prices they're charging for average food is simply because you're consuming it from such heights. Thank you.

Our guide to the London restaurants with big reputations. It is led by group executive chef Dan Doherty along with executive chef Tom Cenci, while the bar is run by Richard Woods. Between them they excel in pairing unconventional flavours and serving ingredients in unorthodox ways. The bulk of the menu is split between tapas-style small plates and larger dishes for sharing. It features slow-cooked, melting tender shreds of meat paired with apricot jam at the epicentre of a fluffy, sweet dough and is coated in a smoky paprika sugar. It consists of just that — a crispy confit duck leg atop a chunky waffle, topped with a fried duck egg and drizzled with mustard maple syrup.
The bookng was so full of delicious sounding dishes that it was hard to pick what to have. What topped the visit for me even further was the fact that the hole room was festively decorated, making us feel really Christmassy. Places where you should drink in London By Insider.
